Time is gone

Steven Morrys

I was four years old

as my daddy left

he left me alone

didn´t saw him then

for a couple years

stayed here on my own

had my sister, brothers and my mother sure

but that is not the same

´cause a child like me

needs his father more

than you will ever know

And i´m sad about the days are gone

i can´t turn back the years

i like to shout out loud and cry

and it´s me who dry your tears

time is gone

and it´s me who dry your tears

time is gone

In the neighbourhood

lived a man who could

fill that empty space

´cause the way he treated his sons seems like

he´s a kindful man

now you know you need a second look

never trust your mind

let your heart decide

take a deeper sight

fear just made you blind

And i´m sad about the days are gone

i can´t turn back the years

i like to shout out loud and cry

and it´s me who dry your tears

time is gone

As she took my girl

she was one year old

i lived on my own

didn´t saw her than

for a couple years

feels like i left her alone

there was another man that she called dad

but that is not the same

´cause a child like her

needs her father more

than i did ever know

And i´m sad about the days are gone

i can´t turn back the years

i like to shout out loud and cry

and it´s me who dry my tears

time is gone

And i´m sad about the days are gone

i can´t turn back the years

i like to shout out loud and cry

and it´s me who dry your tears

time is gone

Now he´s 4 years old

and i would never leave

leave my son alone

´cause a fault like this

i never do again

Now i´m glad about these days are gone

no turning back the years

i like to shout out loud and i

realize, no more tears

time is gone

realize, no more tears

time is gone
